Volunteer For Opening Day

Volunteer at our Opening Day Ceremonies!

Dear Banneker City Families,

We are excited to announce Banneker City's Opening Day Ceremonies this Saturday, March 22nd!

To help make Opening Day a success, we need your support in three key areas:

1. Cookout Donations (Due by Friday, March 21)
This year, we’re asking each family for a monetary donation instead of food or supply contributions. This allows our volunteers to shop ahead and ensure we have everything needed for a smooth cookout. With supplies ready in advance, our Cookout Volunteers can get to work as soon as the food tables open at 11 AM.

Suggested donation: $20 per family

2. Volunteer Sign-Ups (By Thursday, March 20)
Banneker City needs your help! We have 2-hour shifts available for various roles:

Decorating
Grilling
Field Prep
Clean-Up

3. Join Us for Opening Day (Saturday, March 22)
This once-a-year event will showcase ALL 37 of our league teams playing games at both Banneker Upper Field and Banneker Lower Field.
